Welcome new and expectant parents. Nothing is more exciting and life altering than the arrival of a new baby.

If it is a boy, you also have a Brit Milah (Bris) to plan, and there are only a few days to organize for the event. This web site will help you, and if you are in the Chicago area, Dr. Gerson can be your mohelet (mohel).

You can read through the sections on the history of Brit Milah, participants in the ceremony, things to buy and what to expect afterward. Feel free to contact Dr. Gerson via e-mail or phone to discuss preparations, and have your questions answered, and if you are still deciding whether you wish to go ahead with either the ceremony or the procedure, you can address your concerns with her.
